Windows Desktop Management Agent Upgrade - 19 August 2024

The IBM MaaS360 communication technology is getting upgraded to the new Advanced Windows Agent for better performance, scalability, and enhanced security. All users that use the older or deprecated DTM agent must upgrade to the new technology before 1 October 2024.

IBM MaaS360 Ending Support for Android versions 5 and 6 - 5 July 2024

IBM MaaS360 will end support for Android devices running versions 5 (Lollipop) and 6 (Marshmallow) beginning later this year. Effective October 2022, devices running on these OS versions will no longer receive new MaaS360 app updates. MaaS360 for Android agent version 8.0 that will be released in September 2022 will be the final version for Android 5 and 6.

Cloud Extender Email Notifications - 20 June 2024

Microsoft has announced that they will start to block the new assignment of the ApplicationImpersonation role for Exchange Online accounts starting July 2024 and discontinue its use by February 2025.

IBM MaaS360 apps enforcing Apple ATS requirements - 10 January 2024

Application Transport Security (ATS) is a critical security measure designed to enhance the security of all app communications over HTTPS. MaaS360 is taking steps to ensure its apps are fully compliant with the Apple ATS requirements.
